How to Prepare for Your Spray Tan
- If desired, remove any body hair the day before your appointment
- Exfoliate and moisturize your skin thoroughly 24 hours prior to your spray tan
- Your skin should be clean and free from any products before the treatment
- Do not apply makeup, body lotion, deodorant, or perfume before your session
- Wear loose, dark clothing to avoid staining your clothes and to prevent fabric marks on your tan
After Your Spray Tan
- The color will continue to develop for 8 hours
- Avoid showering, swimming, or heavy sweating for 8–10 hours after the session
- The guide color (bronzer) will wash off during your first shower
- For your first shower, rinse with water only – no soap
- Gently pat your skin dry with a towel; do not rub
- Moisturize your skin morning and evening to help maintain the tan
- With proper care, your tan can last 8–14 days
- You can extend the results with a Gradual Self Tan lotion
